Liz and Jon… two beautiful souls with loving families and friends! The easiest way to describe these two is: Happy and IN LOVE! And that’s how it should be.![]()
The “getting ready” portion of the day was an extreme example of how different a wedding is for girls versus guys… while the girls were getting their make up done, the guys were playing mini golf, racing go-karts, and feeding alligators. Yes, you read that right.
There were so many things that made this wedding special… one of which was Jon singing to his mom. Personal touches make the day more than just a party.
One thing to take note of in the photos below… Liz and Jon elected to do an Unplugged Wedding. (Read more here.) Pay attention to the ceremony photos… the guests are WATCHING the bride walk down the aisle and WATCHING the ceremony. Not worrying about posting a photo on Facebook. Not messing with their camera and making all kinds of little jingle noises and beeps. There weren’t any annoying flashes. Out of 250 guests, I saw one or two people elect not to follow the bride and groom’s wishes. That is an excellent percentage in my mind! The most important part is, the guests were involved and engaged. As Liz walked down the aisle with her dad, she was able to see the beautiful faces of the friends and family that she invited, not 50 cameras and bright flashes, and I know that was a wonderful thing for her!

This couple had the perfect amount of pre-wedding fun before hand and seriousness during. I loved this bride’s dress, it was STUNNING on her… and earrings- drop chandelier type… love the sparkle.
The purple bridesmaid dresses- wow! Loved the groom style too- quite debonaire. That cake was modernistic-chic and enjoyed the design. LOVE the releasing of the lanterns at the end, I had kept that idea in the mental vault for myself one day… Great photos- beautiful couple!
