Mary and Tanner: JFP Assistants’ Workshop (Jessika’s Shots)

Okay, fair warning… there are a ton of photos in this post. I had so much trouble narrowing down my favorites that I just decided to post a whole bunch!

These shots came from my camera, but there were three more cameras there. So, keep your eyes peeled for additional blog posts for Jimmy, Jen, and Alice’s shots!

^ Mary and Tanner are used to being famous.

^ The Canon girls in action.

 ^ Hot in B&W.

 ^ Workin’ it.

^ I think this is my most favorite photo I have ever taken. Love it.

^ Love it in Color, B&W, Super Fade… need I go on?

^ So HOT!:)

^ Such a brave, brave girl…

^ LOVE this one.

^ An ode to the Mecca of all that is cameras.

^ Notice anything?

^ Fav!

Mary and Tanner are two of my most favorite people in the whole wide world, and I was so glad that they agreed to model for us at my workshop! This workshop allowed my assistants to gain some first hand experience in posing and working with couples.

We had a great time downtown, where we got a lot of funny looks. However, sometimes you have to do some crazy things to get great photos!

Thank you, Thank you, Mary and Tanner! I can’t wait to shoot your wedding in November!:)

Okay, so, I’m quoting this directly from the email I sent my home girl – Jess – yesterday because it’s the best way I can describe her work…

I love love love how each image captures more than just a picture, but a moment. Scrolling through is like turning a page to a novel, and I’m sooo happy to know that when I look back at these, I’ll know exactly what chapter I’m on :)

It was our pleasure to help you guys out! We had a blast – Roaring 20s Style!

AWWW!!! Thank you, Mary!! I can’t wait until your wedding!! :)

Sarah | Class of 2010 | Mishawaka

^ I love this one… so HOT!

^ Sarah brought along her BFF Sam!

^ She looks so HOT in black and white!!

^ Indiana in May… of course it started to rain!

^ And coincidentally… my umbrella matched her shirt!

^ I am in love with this hoodie!

^ FAV!!

^ HOT!

^ She also rocked out the Super Fade!

Jimmy and I made the long trek up to Mishawaka to photograph our second Senior Rep, Sarah! As we were waiting on Sarah before her appointment, Jimmy and I witnessed a wedding in the little park where we were doing Sarah’s session… the groom was over an hour late!

We had a great time with Sarah and her BFF Sam, and although our session got cut short because of the rain, she ended up with a ton of great photos!

See you again in the fall, Sarah!!

^ I love this one! Awesome catch, Jimmy!

^ I just couldn’t resist adding a texture overlay to this one… I wanted it to feel more like a painting!

^ This would be perfect as a gallery wrap, Mary!

^ I love the shadows in this one. I said to Mary, “Okay, pretend you guys were just making out here in these stairs and I caught you.”

^ I found this one as I was going through Jimmy’s shots. Sooooo typical!

^ Absolute FAV! I couldn’t decide between the color, B&W, and Sepia versions!!

^ I remember saying at this exact moment, “Aww, he smiled!!!”

 ^ Gorgeous eyes!

^ All I can say is… WOW.

Being a Bolermaker, I really had to suck it up to set foot on the IU campus, but because I love Mary and Tanner to death, I did it! hahhaha! We had so much fun with them! They were up for anything!

I cannot WAIT to photograph their wedding in November!!! We will have hours and hours of fun together then!!

Okay, I’m just gonna say it, because I know everyone’s thinking it… so, to answer all your unasked, but not unheard questions…

"Yes, I’m a a diva. I’ma I’ma a DIIIIVVVVVAAA!"

For the record, Jess is a photographical genius. For cereal, the girl can work a camera lens like nobody’s business! Thanks again for doing such an ahhhhh to the mazzzing job! Can’t wait for 11.28!!! Haha! That rhymes. We should prolly have it printed it out baseball tees to sport until then :)

Jessika Feltz PhotographyMay 11, 2009 - 8:15 PM

Dude, we should… like "11.28… Be There or Be Square." Or something waaaay cooler.

KimberMay 4, 2009 - 9:02 PM

Hi,
my name is Kimber Euliss. I am a friend of jessicas. this work is AWESOME by the way, and i am very interested in being a senior rep. I am a student at Herron High School, I am also in the class of 2010.
My school is a mayor sponsored charter school. It is a one of a kind.
I would appreciate if you could get a hold of me with details on the senior rep program, and if that doesnt work out, maybe package price ranges.

This is amazing work, and i would love to represent you and your business and/or have you take my senior pics.

Thanks!

Alicia and Ryan | New Castle Wedding

Alicia and Ryan had a small, private ceremony at Ryan’s parents’ beautiful house/farm in New Castle. If I had to describe the event in one word, it would be “ELEGANT!” The details were perfect, and Ryan’s mom even made her famous lasagna for the reception!

Alicia and I chatted before hand and she let me know what kind of feel she wanted in her photos. Like all of my brides, I personalized my shooting and editing styles just for her.
